Some visits stay with you forever.
Recently, the Starling Logistics team had the privilege of visiting one of the incredible young heroes supported by the Rimantas Kaukėnas Charity Foundation. While we arrived with smiles and small surprises, we left with something far more valuable—admiration for a child whose strength is greater than most of us could ever imagine.
Meeting not only the little hero but also the family behind this journey reminded us that courage comes in many forms. Every smile, every conversation, and every shared moment carried a meaning far beyond words.
When we hear the word hero, we often imagine someone extraordinary.
But sometimes, heroes are children who face each new day with remarkable bravery despite challenges that no child should ever have to experience.
Spending time together, sharing conversations, and simply being present may seem like small gestures, but we hope they brought a little joy and helped create another happy memory for the whole family.
